Associate Analyst
Responsibilities include:
- Develop, improve, and test our credit risk models for use in determining appropriate lending criteria and verification processes
- Develop, improve, and test our fraud models
- Develop criteria to effectively spend marketing dollars
- Conduct specific analysis using statistical and financial resources to recommend risk management, marketing, and operational strategies
- Communicate the information gained through data analysis to management by way of presentations and write-ups of results and recommendations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative field
- Advanced knowledge of general statistical concepts and analysis, statistical/econometric practices
- Advanced programming ability using SAS or other statistical software
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and advanced use of statistical applications/databases
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Team player, and innovative thinker
- Maturity, sensible judgment, and hands-on analytical and technical skills
- Ability to identify uncommon solutions to complex problems
