IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for installing, maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, software, and computer peripherals. Sets up and configures new systems, and provides advice to end users on hardware and systems software issues. Provides computer systems support and services for a variety of operating systems, and proprietary and standard software. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or GED. College degree preferred.
  • PC and network systems use and understanding of the capabilities and connectivity of PCs including Microsoft Server and workstation operating systems
  • Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and peripherals
  • Basic programming skills
  • Excellent Windows/Office skills
  • Ability to write SQL scripts
  • Experience with SQL Server
